So. I've successfully completed 1st term of 2nd year of I.T. Systems Management and Networking with a 92 average. What can I do. Program (Cisco) layer 2 and 3 switches plus router for a med or enterprise company network. I can also setup and get Windows Server 2008 R2 going adding roles and such. I can probably make intersting diagrams with MS Viso. Boring class. Hardware II wasn't really that much although I did take apart a couple of older laptops from about 7 or more year ago and then reassemble them with proper instructions. Did a little bit on SCSI and RAID controllers. Christ I can't remember much from that class and I probably should.

Everything has changed after moving back home to Canada in the past 2 years. Don't do much art anymore except restricting thing to specifically making money through selling stuff for Poser. Probably kind of sad. But that's how things go I suppose.

An interesting question has created a bit of a dilemma for me trying to find information on. The question goes exactly like this:

"Find two motherboards that give options of purchasing two different bios-es. Include the advantages of each bios, explaining which situation each one would be used for. This may be a difficult task so take some time."

I been racking my brains trying to find a motherboard manufacturer that offers this as a solution to no avail. It's baffling but apparently it does exist I just haven't been able to find one. In the back of my mind I'm thinking this is heavy duty Server material we're talking about not consumer grade.

Any help would be fantastic.

PS. A new one is in alpha testing - Deadly Cute

So. At about the end of May I finished the 5 week work term at the local Staples to complete my work term for the school requirement so I was officially all done up to that point. I did a little bit of walking the floor in the mornings and then mostly in the back room with the techie (I was wearing the Staples black 'techie' shirt) for the rest of the day. My average the first year was I believe 98, so I did pretty good. It wasn't really 'that' difficult to begin with. Networking on the other hand was a little more intense however but I did pretty good in that.

So. I have completed I.T. first year and can't wait to get going with the completion of the second year in September. I will at that point have completed the Systems Management and Networking stream. Then I can get a real job.

Currently still making Poser props and waiting for a job in a sign shop to open up so I can do some part time work for a few months.

On September 6th I'll be back in (a community college) school taking IT (Information Technology) for 2 years. First year (which will hopefully be somewhat of a breeze considering I've been using computers for the past 15 years) is a common year, 2nd year will be Systems Management/Networking.
