Isaac Asimov... meet Hostel ???

In a future where andys are given the same basic rights of every other human being on the planet... they are also susceptable to the same kinds of inhuman acts of physical mind terror.

Thanks for looking.

*I'm not a very good commenter I'd admit. But I'm not a very good artist either.

However when you receive a comment like this it makes you feel like it's ok to do and say something for the good of the person it's intended.

For biomech44 from biomech44 because he knew what I needed and was unselfish about it and we don't even really know each other:
"Beautiful and powerful piece.Wonderful ominous and overall dark feel, the sinister and mysterious silouhette playing off the faraway and lost gaze and feel of the abused soul in the foreground.Amazing details and composition as usual, beautifully rendered, and amazing and powerful atmosphere."

Very thought provoking and beautifully executed as usual. It did occur to me that it was representational but it also occurs to me that in order for androids to feel fear and pain that they would have to be programmed to do this. These are two basic rights I would rather not have and what would the benefit of giving androids these human "rights" unless it would be used as a method of punishment and control? ......interesting concept, which makes me think :)

Thank you so very much..I don't know what to say,you truly honour me.You are a good artist,a a very good artist and imaginative story teller in my opinion.Your art speaks for itself and I wrote what I saw and felt in it and from it honestly.I don't know why you say people don't take your art seriously and that you doubt your talent, but if anything,I hope my comment has shown that people do take your work seriously and appreciate and enjoy your imagination and talent.Thank you once again for this honour..it truly means a lot to me. :)

It's ok. Just feel good about it I guess. I just hope I pass along a little happiness to at least one person at a time.

"I don't know why you say people don't take your art seriously "
If I had a job right now or could make some money there wouldn't be any reason for me to have to stop and say it. If I'm that bad no one's telling me and if they're telling me by saying nothing that's fucked up. It was alot better and alot more fun around here 3 years ago. Something has really changed about DA that I can't put my finger on just yet that I've been trying to figure out but since I don't really talk to anyone I have no idea. There's always lots of people I'd like to be able to talk to but everyone always seems to keep me at arms length away, short and brief.

I think just to pay tribute to such a great comment I'm going to put it in the description. So I can remember it and so can anyone else. :)

Thankyou.

It's very well-rendered, and it's a bit more tasteful than not, but perhaps it should be marked mature with so little coverage.

heh. I didn't actually think anyone would even bother to catch that.

People are more apathetic than they realize. By... displaying... some kind of empathy... it's merely becoming an emulation.

Although it does however allow us to be more vocal through our minds, more robotic in nature. The whole internet world of emot, emo, emotives and such... isn't that on some level just another way of projecting oneself. Like the things we'd like to be but aren't. Another way of acting in a role or becoming something. It's a digital manifestation.

basically the internet is one big Digital Masquerade Ball. The anonymity provided allows us to wear whatever mask we wish to, but the danger is that at some point we may cease to be wearing the mask and the masks start to wear us, if that makes any sense.

An actor playing a role on screen and off there being no differentiation between the two.

the only differences are if any one is watching and if anyone cares.

The silhouette in the back is a nice add, does bring the hostel-vibe into it. And the whole room obviously, very similar style than in the movies. Keep it up. :peace:
